About Us
We love what we do! Fitzloff Photography has been a dream that we have shared since 1996. After three years of intense research and hard work, our dream finally became a reality in March 2004.
Greg earned his degree in Professional Portrait Photography from Hawkeye Technical Institute and has worked for two professional portrait studios for eleven years. He has been an active and loyal member of the Professional Photographers of Iowa since 1991 and is currently a board member. He is also a member of the Senior Photographers International and the Senior Portrait Artists associations.
Christi has worked for three professional portrait studios for six years. Although she has a degree as a paralegal, she has always shared a passion for artistic portraiture with Greg. She is also a member of the Professional Photographers of Iowa since 2001, the Senior Photographers International and the Senior Portrait Artists associations.
Together, with almost twenty-four years of combined experience, we are focused on bringing art back to photography. By capturing the story of our clients, we are able to create beautiful portraits that touch their hearts and emotions. Also, with excellent customer service and a commitment to continuing our education, our clients are sure to have the best professional portrait experience possible in the area!
How Are We Different From All The Others?
We are not in business to sell paper. What we do is not just creating a physical likeness of our clients. We capture the beauty of their spirits in an artistic and pleasing way that will touch their hearts and emotions. Working with our clients in such an intimate manner is an incredible gift that we look forward to experiencing for years to come.
Also, we will surpass your expectations of how a professional portrait studio should be and how artfully inspired portraiture is created.
Although we are completely digital, we do not rely on the technology to make our portraits what they are. It is our belief that digital technology is a tool that we use to enhance our artistic expression. It should not be used as a crutch or a cure-all.
The inspiration and creation of a great portrait begins with the client, the photographer, and the camera. Not on the computer when the session is completed. We use digital technology to enhance what we have already captured with professional portrait lighting and posing.
